About JEE Main Paper-2


JEE Main Paper 2 is for student aspirant who wants to study B.Arch & B.Planning. There are total 850 seats available for various NIT and Architecture Institute that accept JEE Paper 2 Scorecard for their admission.

JEE Main Paper-2  answering mode is offline. Question Paper mode is Mathematics (Part 1) – 30 Questions, Aptitude Test (Part 2) – 50 Questions,2 Questions in Drawing. Total marks will be 370. Maths & Aptitude section will be objective while the drawing section will be subjective. Language for the question paper will be English & Hindi. Total time Duration will be 3 Hours. Marking Scheme for paper-2 is +4 marks for each correct answer, Negative Marking 1 Mark will be deducted.

Tips to prepare for JEE Main Paper-2:

1.   First, distinguish between Important & less important topics. Separate the topics holding higher marks weightage in Paper 2.
2.   If you need some perspective about the Drawing test section, substantiate your study material with Engineering Drawing books.
3.   Try to analyze objects closely & draw the dimensions.
4.   Drawing test of Architecture entrance exam is more about the design ideas, while on the other hand Drawing test in Arts is more about aesthetics.
